Telling Moore: Oral Storytelling at Moore and Moore Cafe

Welcome to Beyond Nine Waves the first event of Telling Moore, bringing the art of traditional oral storytelling to a contemporary audience. You can expect a vibrant evening of storytelling from some of WA (and further afield) incredible storytellers, with collaborations from local musicians, percussionists and singers. Join us this evening of storytelling and conviviality.

The Story: This month storyteller Will Wilson will tale a raucous performance of Tristan and Isolde, accompanied on the Harp by Lilli Feske.

Event Schedule: Thursday 29th January 2026

Doors: 18:00 - arrive and settle in with a drink and something to eat

Performance starts: 19:00 - Performance area opens, enter in silence

Interval: 19:45 - Take a breather and order a drink or cafe made cake

Performance continues: 20:10 - Regather and listen to the second part

Ending: 21:00 - Ending after a short discussion Q&A with Storyteller
